Welcome to my blog. My main website with its bloggy main page is
probably is a bit more up to date as I spend more time working on
that one. I run a fairly sizable website called
Restless Adventureralready
and this is just something of a portal page
to it. If you are adventure-minded then you are guaranteed to find
something of interest in the links to the left. If you have any
questions feel free to
contact me. I've
helped a lot of people with their adventure plans and enjoy doing it.
I've certainly received my share of advice.
Hey check out the fun I had climbing Colorado's Skyscraper Peak:
Skyscraper Peak and GlacierThat was followed by a couple weeks of low activity but that comes to an end soon. Weather permitting I'm headed to the San Juans this week to do some Centennials. Wish me luck!

Last week I succeeded at my first aid climb. I was alone and for this practice session I set up a safety line so I couldn't come off the cliff regardless of what might happen. But I didn't need it and was able to aid up on a variety of cams and a short ladder that I tied in some sling. Good experience.

The last igloo hadn't held up well in the sun. I visited it early this month and while it was usable for me for a couple days; the side walls were very sunken in. oh well, good to know. The climb of Atlantic Peak was great.

I've been invited to climb Denali with my long time backpacking and climbing partner, Bernie, next year. It is something that I would love to do except I'm not so good at being able to plan and block out the time for something like that in advance. Wish me luck. You can read about the team's progress through Bernie's eyes here:
Denali in 2008.
